Netscape & Internet Explorer: How to Download Images From the Web |

| Step One: | As you're viewing the image you'd like to save, right-click on the image. |
| Step Two: | From the menu that appears, select Save picture as (IE) or Save image as (Netscape). |
| Step Three: | Save in: In the window that appears click on the arrow to the right of the box labeled Save In: and select disk drive (A:, C:, D:, etc.) and the folder where you wish to save the image. |
| Step Four: | File name: In the box labeled File name: type a name for the page you're about to save. You can give it any name you like. |
| Step Five: | Save as type: In the box labeled Save as type: click on the arrow and select a file type. The possible choices (and there may not be a choice) include .gif, .jpeg, and .bmp. Information about file types. |
| Step Six: | Click on the Save button. You have now saved the image to the drive you designated in Step Three and the window will disappear. |
| Step Seven: | You can now open this file in a word processing program or a paint/graphics program such as Paint Shop Pro. In a graphics program click on File from the upper left corner of the menu bar, click on Open, select the drive where you saved the file, and open the file. In a word processing program look for a menu choice to insert graphic (or picture). |
